Is a deceased parent's name included on a wedding invitation?
Q. Our daughter is getting married and her mother has
passed away, should her name be listed on the invitation? Her father has
remarried and his wife has raised his daughter.
A. If the bride's widowed father and his new wife are
hosting, you can word the invitation as follows:
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of his daughter
Mary Jane Doe
