Wedding Pinatas

Do you want to do something a bit different at your wedding? Here are some ideas for helping you define a creative, unique wedding that everyone will remember.

Editors Pick: Wedding Pinatas

If you ever played pinatas as a kid, you'll remember what fun it was. Now there's a way to incorporate this fun into your wedding... but dressed up quite a bit and without any swinging bats!

Pinatas are available with "pull strings." These enable the bride and groom to delight their guests with a shower of goodies - and to do it with elegance! These pull string conversion kits are available for under $2.00.

You can buy a cander stuffer with your pinata for aroud $10, or fill it yourself with the treats of your choice.

Wishing Well - White

We found this Wishing Well in white (above), pink, peach, lavender and teal for $45 at www.pinatas.com.

They also carry wedding bell ($40) and bride and groom ($60) pinatas.

A Little Pinata History

Pinatas probably originated in the Orient. They were brought to Italy by Marco Polo, and from there the use spread to Spain. The Spanish Conquistadors introduced them to Mexico, and the custom spread through Latin America.
